Blizzard Entertainment's third expansion to the ever-popular massively multiplayer online role-playing game doesn't yet have a release date, but that didn't stop its maker from announcing and detailing the $80 Collection's Edition for World of Warcraft: Cataclysm today.
In addition to the game disc, players will find a number of exclusive items in the collector's edition ranging from a Lil' Deathwing in-game pet to a behind-the-scenes DVD with more than an hour's worth of footage detailing the game's development.
The $80 World of Warcraft: Cataclysm Collector's Edition includes a 176-page art book, a Lil' Deathwing in-game pet, behind-the-scenes DVD, and a soundtrack CD. Additionally, the collector's edition will ship with a mousepad depicting Deathwing ravaging Azeroth and a 60-card WoW starter pack from the Wrathgate trading card series.
Blizzard Entertainment did not provide a release date for World of Warcraft: Cataclysm but did promise that more game details will arrive in the coming months. A beta for Cataclysm is currently underway, and those interested in getting in on the prerelease action can sign up using their Battle.net accounts.
